It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. O'Connell (Bolingbrook, Illinois), who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth "Bitsy" O'Connell; his children, James (Margaret "Peggy"), Michael E. (Jodi), Timothy J. (Amanda), Patrick J. O'Connell and Kathleen Schwab (Alan); his grandchildren, Malachy, Molly, Michael R., Ryan, Jack, Joseph, Brittany, Casey, Mallory, Matthew and Julia; and his sisters, Kathleen Abraham (late Albert) and Brenda O'Connell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mike's name can be made to Joliet Catholic Academy.
