It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvina Ligon in Bolingbrook, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Ligon; her daughter Sandra Jungkans; her parents, Dewey Walker and Ruth Walker (Hudson); her brother Roy Walker; and her sister-in-law Sylvia.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Allen; her grandchildren, Shannon Csorba (Aaron), Joshua Allen (Lisa), Shana Allen and Samantha Allen (Peter Bartus); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Zackary Csorba, Anthony Allen and Niko Allen; and her sister Martha Faye McVey. She is also survived by loving relatives and close friends.
