It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Parsons (Bolingbrook, Illinois), born in Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Parsons and Delma Parsons; and his sister Lois Howell (Raymond) of Indiana. He is survived by: his brother Glenn Parsons (Patricia) of Virginia; his wife Bonnie Jean; his children, Lori Harris, Judy King (Doug) and James Parsons (Suzette); his great grandchild Stephen Harris; his children, Stephen Jr., Samson, Margeaux, Camila, D. J., Kelani, Nicholas Hardy (Morgan), Jaxon, Matthew and Jordan King; and his grandchild Peyton.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Covid-19, and for the safety of the family, there will be a private interment held at Chapel Lawn Cemetery (Crown Point, IN) at a later date.
