She is survived by: her sons, Bimal (Shruti) and Rajshekar Shastri (Sangita); her grandchildren, Ritvij (Sheila), Rucha, Salil (Amy), Nupur, Krishna and Abhi; and her great grandchildren, Mateo, Amelia, Thea and Everly. She is also survived by her 4 siblings with a large extended family.
