With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gisela W. Baumel of Bolingbrook, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Büttner and Erna Zen Büttner; and her husband Ralph Baumel. She is survived by: her children, Ralph Baumel, III (Nancy), Leslie Koziczkowski (Joseph) and Jennifer Vandeburg (Matthew); her grandchildren, Shannon, Heidi, Joe, Charlie, Alex, Ryan, Grace, Christine and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Michael, Rayna, Talon, Aidan, Levi and Nora; and her siblings, Christa Bohr (late Alex) and Manfred Lübke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
