She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Hicks, Leroy Hicks Devon Hamilton and Brenda Spencer; her grandchildren, Bianca Hicks, Tianna Hicks, Bentley Hamilton, Bryson Hamilton, Brayden Hamilton, Christon, Zachariah and Christopher; and her siblings, Shirley Mills (Mark), Dolores Banks, Leslie Lelo, Linda Campbell Carvis, Aubrey Garner Jr. Herman Jones (Travestine), Patricia Brewer (Dexter), Phylis Porter and Kennedy Ezell (Barbara).
She was awarded for fostering over 50 children and handicap women by the Our Children's of Homestead One Child + One Dream Foundation.
