She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Smith and Margaret Smith (Kite); her husband Louis L. Maas; her son Dennis; and her brothers, Melvin, William and Lester Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kurtz (Charles) of Bolingbrook and Terry Maas (Pam) of Rock Falls, IL; her daughter-in-law Jean Maas of Wentzville; her grandchildren, Matthew Maas, Shelley Kirchner (Craig), Stacie Tuffentsamer (Duane), Allison Maas (Keri), Martin Maas (Erica), Megan Maas, Dana Antonelli (Michael) and Christopher Kurtz (Ashley Senesac); and her great grandchildren, Devin, Quincy, Olivia, Isabelle, DeAndre, Kenzie, Madeline, Xavier, Amelia, Camden, KaMilla, Eleanor and Ethan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
