It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy A. Chelf of Bluford, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Osborn and Margaret Opal Morgan (Beckham); her former husband Gary Melton; her husband James William Chelf; her son Anthony Melton; her grandson Joshua Melton; and her siblings, Van, Lucy, Mable, Jane, John, Lewis, Martha, Virginia and Terry.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Allen Melton of Bonnie and Angela Dawn Choate (Dana) of O'Fallon, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Pamela Mullins; her siblings, Charlie Morgan (Debbie) of Bonnie, Jim Morgan, Linda Smith (Kenny) of Irvington and Robert Morgan (Patsy) of Ina, Illinois; her grandchildren, Daniel Melton, Danielle Melton, Jaime Childers (Derick), Collin Melton, Kailee Richardson (Brandon), Ryan Pierce (Brittany) and Krystal Bruha; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Utlaut, Paige Utlaut, Preston Utlaut, Teagan Childers, Jeslyn Childers, Adelin Childers, Rylan Richardson and Bristol Richardson.
