He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Huff and Opal Huff (Bruce); his wife Peggy Blankenship; his daughters, Karmen "Michelle" Lowery of Bluford, Gay Lynn Huff of Bluford and Tonya Eubanks (Mike) of Woodlawn, Illinois; his grandchildren, Andria Clarke of Shiloh, Tyler Lowery of Benton and Whitney Walker (Bert) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Brennon, Wrenley Walker of Mount Vernon and Sawyer Clarke of Shiloh, Illinois; his sister Joan Shafer of Bluford, Illinois; his sister-in-law Diana Hirons of Bluford, Illinois; his nephew Chad Hirons of Bluford, Illinois.; and his brother-in-law Dean Shafer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newell Funeral Home (601 S 42nd St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
