He is survived by: his son Marc Justice of Springfield, Illinois; his granddaughter Morella Hartz of Denver, Colorado; his siblings, Janet Garretson (Richard) of Mount Vernon, James Justice (Cathy) of Nashville, Jeff Justice of Winston Salem and Jay Justice of Lewisville; and his pet Juno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in John's honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or Logan Street Baptist Church.
