James Winkler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2022, at the age of 90, James Winkler of Bluford, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Agnes Harris, Marshall, Chuck Winkler and Frank Winkler. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ruth Bowdler Winkler; his children, Janie R. Ruhl of Georgia, James E. Winkler (Debbie) of Kentucky, John A. Winkler of Mt. Vernon and Amanda R. Gilbert (Matt Bond) of Walnut Hill; his grandchildren, Rachel Mulloy (James), Billy Ruhl (Brandy), Jimmy Winkler (Cassie), Kamerine Ruhl, Lacey Henderson (Jason), Elma Gilbert, Brenden Kellerman, Brittany Winkler and Shawn Anthony Winkler; and his great grandchildren, David, Adam, Mason, Evan, Jacob, Gabe, Avery, Aubrey, Jillian, Stella, Desman and Kash.
