It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Ruckman of Bluford, Illinois, born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Teresa Draper; and his in-laws, J. Ron McGee, Kevin Smith, Sharon Griswold and Shirley Brach (Fred).
He is survived by: his wife Barb (Gregory); his daughters, Stacy Benard (Marty) and Michelle Watson (Jim); his grandchildren, Courtney Roberson, Jacob Roberson (Bailey), Ethan Watson, Joshua Watson and Caleb Watson; his great grandchild Ivy Roberson; his siblings, Cindy McGee and Fred Ruckman (Jan); and his siblings-in-law, George Draper, Everett Griswold and Kathy Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be made in Richard's honor to the National Kidney Foundation, Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, or East Salem Baptist Church.
