He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Earl and Ira Mae Bigley (Ellis); his mother-in-law Verna Bloodworth; and his grandsons, Scooby Doo Bigley and James Wayne "J. J.".
He is survived by: his wife Charlene S. McKean; his children, Rebecca Waldrop (Jennifer) of Mount Vernon, James Bigley, Jr. (Mary) of Laquey, David Bigley (Savannah) of Bluford, Elisabeth Helmuth (Jesse) of Laquey, Daniel Lee Bigley (Kelli) of Fairfield and Hannah Bigley of Bluford, Illinois; and his brothers, Ronnie, Kenny and Ricky Bigley. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister; four brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
