George Gale Garrod Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Gale Garrod of Bluford, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Garrod and Dessie Garrod (Donoho); his spouse Roselee F. Garrod (Dalton); his grandson Jason David Fenton; his son-in-law James Kane; and his brothers, Clay Garrod and Francie Garrod.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Kane of Bluford and Debra Fenton (David) of Bluford; his grandchildren, Lisa Hayes (Kenny), Joseph Fenton, Dalton Kane, Joshua Kane, Alicia Hall (Patrick), Matt Kane (Amber) and Sarah Richardson (Mark James); his great grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Dylan Brown, Travis Crider, Jesse Fenton, Zoya Fenton and Elisha Kane; and his siblings, Ivan Garrod of Bluford, Betty Lenz of Bluford and Joyce McKinnis of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
