Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Garry Lee Adcock of Bluford, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 79, on February 15, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nelson and Veda Adcock (Johnson); and his siblings, Velma Sharp, Bert Adcock, Larry Adcock and Donnie Adcock.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Adcock (Ziarnek); his children, Anita Collier (Morgan), Chris Adcock (Julie) and Robin Hicks (Jim); his grandchildren, Caden Phillips, Gage Adcock, Matthew Collier, Cain Adcock and Sophie Collier; his siblings, Ronnie Adcock (Anita), Sherry Beckham (Bill) and Howard Adcock (Terrie); and his sister-in-law Verla Adcock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1500 N Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
Memorials may be made in Garry's honor to Saint Mary's School.
