With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Lynn Petersen of Bluford, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Petersen and Ruby Petersen (Stone). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Petersen (Overturf); his children, Mychelle Minor (Kyle) of Mount Vernon and Brandyn Petersen of Bluford; his grandchildren, Gage Minor (Diana) of Mount Vernon, Isaac Minor (Kara) of Indiana, Kadi Petersen of Mount Vernon, Emmali Petersen of Mount Vernon, Alyson Petersen of Mount Vernon and William Petersen of Mount Vernon; his great grandchildren, Kayleb Minor of Mount Vernon, Jaycen Minor of Mount Vernon, Canaan Minor of Indiana and Matthias Minor of Indiana; and his sister Emma Petersen of Waltonville, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
