Coy Holt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Coy Holt of Bluford, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank M. Holt and Josephine Holt (Loggins); and his siblings, Willie of Lettie, C. W., H. W., Elsie, Odell, Pearle May, Leonard, Rotha, Otha, Troy, Sharon Kay, Mammie, Kritie and Chester.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Holt (Ratliff) of Bluford, Illinois; his children, Jeff (Lori Holt) of Peoria, Illinois, Debra (Mario Hodge) of Opdyke, Illinois, Keyshawn C. J. Holt of Bluford, Illinois, Tera M. Holt of Bluford, Illinois and Scott B. Holt of Bluford, Illinois; his grandchildren, Aaron Holt (Felicity) of Elmwood, Nathan Holt (Elizabeth) of Peoria, Rebekah Holt of Mount Vernon, Silvio Hodge (Mallory) of Bluford and Sophia Hodge of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his siblings, Thurman Holt (Brenda) of Little Rock and Martha Jean Boatwright of Hot Springs; his nieces and nephews, Christa Wease, Tiffany Wood and Christian Wease; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Karley Kohler, Kelby Wood and Dawson Wood. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to honor Coy to the DAV, Disabled American Veterans.
