We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2022, at the age of 85, Betty Ruth Winkler of Bluford, Illinois, born in Cumberland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Elma Bowdler (Riddle); her husband James A. Winkler; and her brothers, Jimmy, Sidney, Kenneth "Bud" and Jerry Bowdler.
She is survived by: her children, Janie R. Ruhl of Georgia, James E. Winkler (Debbie) of Kentucky, John A. Winkler of Mt. Vernon and Amanda R. Gilbert (Matt Bond) of Walnut Hill; her grandchildren, Rachel Mulloy (James), Billy Ruhl (Brandy), Jimmy Winkler (Cassie), Kamerine Ruhl, Elma Gilbert, Brenden Kellerman, Brittany Winkler and Shane Anthony Winkler; her great grandchildren, David, Adam, Mason, Evan, Jacob, Gabe, Avery, Aubrey, Jillian, Stella, Desman and Kash; her brother Rick Bowdler (Jeanne) of Radom, Illinois; her sisters-in-law, Germaine, Karen and Carol; and her granddaughter Lacey Henderson (Jason).
Memorials may be made in Betty's honor to Residential Hospice or the Winkler family in care of Amanda Gilbert.
