He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Billy and Cleo Sonricker Coatney; and his former wife Pamela Coatney. He is survived by: his wife Allison Coatney of Bluff Springs; his children, Bren Frank (Andy) of Beardstown, Ann Coatney (Ryan Fitzpatrick) of Virginia, Daniel Coatney (Olivia Garrett) of Woodson, Samantha Williamson (Terrence) of Macomb, Ethan and Alex Coatney of Bluff Springs; his grandchildren, Evin, Beckham, Paisley, Remington, Greyson, Lilly and Colt; and his siblings, Carol Boyles Fairfield and Rodger Coatney (Linda) of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by three nieces; and one nephew.
Due to the current health situation, face masks will be required and to comply with social distancing guidelines, a limited number of people will be allowed in the memorial home at one time.
