He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswell Jokisch and Dora Wellfare Jokisch; his daughter Sarah Katherine; his brother Theron Jokisch; and his nephew Kregg Jokisch.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Jean Nordsiek; his children, Carol Jean Luthanen (Bill) of Plainfield, Aaron John Jokisch (Vicki) of Montrose, CO. and Richard Lee Jokisch (Annette) of Bluff Springs; his granddaughters, Ashley Marie Luthanen of Kentwood, MI. and Amanda Illeen Stolte (Steve) of Bolingbrook; his stepgrandsons, Jon Stevens (Cassie) of Bartlett, Mark Stevens (Wendy) of Rushville and Jeremiah Jones (Wendy) of Ft. Bragg, NC; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lily Stevens, Erin Stevens, Amber Jones and Ryan Jones; his brother Luron Jokisch of Arlington, TX; and his nephew Keith Jokisch (Sheryl).
