He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chambers and Hazel Chambers; his daughter Tracey Laws; and his grandson Cole Laws. He is survived by: his daughter Kerry Slater (Aaron) of Beardstown; his close friend Nancy Giovannini of Bluff Springs; his children, Rachel Carlock (Cole) and Marc Giovannini (Griffin); his grandchildren, Olivia Slater, Sydney Laws (Kerby Fortner), Chloe Slater, Mallory Smedly, Gus Carlock, Tessa Giovannini and Zoey Giovannini; his brothers, John Chambers (Kay) of Bluff Springs and Michael Chambers (Valerie) of Bluff Springs; his niece Victoria Reed (John) of Canton; and his nephew Brian Chambers (Skylar Bennett) of Bluff Springs.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Colwell Memorial (515 S State St, Beardstown, IL 62618).
Memorials have been suggested to Bluff Springs United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
