She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Tamason; her daughter Susan Tamason; and her sister Mary Germano. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Tamason (Rebecca) and Dr. Patricia Higgins (Donald); her grandchildren, Charlotte Tamason (Enrico Cañal Bruland), Caitlin Higgins, Matthew Tamason and Donald Higgins (Alexandrea); her great grandchild Amaia Cañal Tamason; and her siblings, Josephine Dengler, Peter Novak, Pauline Mishkutz, Michael Novak, Nancy Pravda and Anne McGregor.
