Ruth Juarez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Juarez (Blue Island, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eustasio Ledesma and Rosa B. Ledesma; her children, Ruth "Toni" Byrnes (late Edward) and Thomas Arthur Juarez (Betty); and the father of her children Anthony Juarez.
She is survived by: her siblings, Antonio and Guadalupe; her husband Anthony Juarez; her daughters, Josephine Juarez Galletto and Jennifer Juarez-Riley; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Burke, Dana Juarez, Tommy Juarez (Julie), Eddie Byrnes, Anna Rogers (Ryan), Jeffrey Juarez, Anthony Brown (Sherry), Julie Juarez, Jessica Juarez-Kelner, Nicholas Galletto (Chelsea), Christopher Galletto (Kayleigh), Dean Riley (Fatima), Joseph Riley (Alyssa) and Niko Riley. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hickey Memorial Chapels - Blue Island (2429 W 127th St, Blue Island, IL 60406). A prayer was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Donatus Church (1939 Union St, Blue Island, IL 60406). A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St Benedict Cemetery (4600 W 135th St, Crestwood, IL 60418).
