It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Holdefer of Blue Island, Illinois, who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amanda Holdefer and Arthur Holdefer; his son Kevin Holdefer; and his sister Marian Luety (late Richard). He is survived by: his wife Norma D.; his sons, Steven Holdefer (Mary) and Jeff Holdefer; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Stevyn, Kevyn and Kenyth; and also Richard J. "Sparky" Holdefer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
