It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Ordaz (Blue Island, Illinois), born in Dixmoor, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacinto Valencia and Angeline Valencia; and her siblings, Josephine Schroeder (late William) and Francis Valencia (late Donna). She is survived by: her husband Rudolph Ordaz; her children, Kevin Ordaz, Lisa Kowalczyk and Robert Ordaz (Karla Rudy); her grandchildren, Gianna Ordaz (Victor Chihuaque), Lorenzo Ordaz, Nina Kowalczyk and Jacob Kowalczyk; and her siblings, Lawrence Valencia (Sandy), Sam Valencia and Marguerite Wicherek (late Robert). She is also survived by many other family members, friends and lives she.
