He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Estes (Petrovich); his parents, Charlie Estes and Mae Estes (Howton); and his siblings, Ed Estes, Ralph Estes, Carrie Lee Estes (Morton), Ruth Estes (Hill), Susie Estes (Beard) and Francilla Estes (Hall).
He is survived by: his daughter Emmer Cressler (late Michael) of Lynwood, IL; his granddaughters, Michelle Martin (Kevin) of Whiting, IN and Tammy Cressler of Whiting, IN; his great grandchildren, Kori Burgess, Nevaeh Cressler, Kellie Martin and Katie Martin; and his siblings, Leon Estes of Jasper, Alabama and Peggy Estes (Napp) of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
