She is survived by: her children, Ofelia Ruiz (Daniel), Maria Becerra (late Jose Isaac) and Jose Castillo; her adoptive children, Isidoro Castillo and Reinalda Castaneda; her grandchildren, Ricardo, Jennifer, Isaac, Alex and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Araceli, Elizabeth, Ricardo Jr., Evelyn, Isabella, Mario Jr. and Alex Jr.; and her sibling Damiana Esparza.
