He was predeceased by: his father Henry Mear. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Wendy Klimah (Paul), Donald Jr., Rebecca and Jonathan (Beth DeMeere); and his grandson Zephyr. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

If you would like, In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to in Donald P Mear Sr name to the Glacier National Park conservancy.
