She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Winterland and Maggie Hougham Winterland; and her children, Sandra Whalen (Jerry) of Lexington, IL and Merle Atkins of Jeffersonville, PA.. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Chenoa Public Library or the Chenoa Peace Meals.
