It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Reed Jr. (Bloomington, Illinois), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Reed and Theora Reed; his wife Laura Emma Warren; and his brothers, Alfred, Arvis and Fred.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lavon Reed (Minietta), Elbert Reed (Terri), Gwendolyn Adams and Paula Mauzy; his children, Joyce Tate (Demetrius) and Thom Reed (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Noah (Spencer), Sarah, Jessica, Faith and Emma Reed.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the East Lawn Funeral Home (1102 Airport Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
