She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldo Monti and Alice Monti (Hale); her husband Joe; and her brother Terry. She is survived by: her nephew Tony Monti (Dawn); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Katie, Maddie and Nick; her nephew Scott Monti (Michelle); her sister-in-law Jacque Monti; and her niece Jennifer Hays (Alan).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (106 W Chestnut St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sylvia's memory may be given to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
