Sweeney and Madonna Mulcahey Sweeney; his wife JoAnn Alewel; his children, Stephanie Hudson (Kevin) of Norfolk, VA, Daniel Sweeney (Traci), Bill Sweeney (Megan), Sara Sears (Bob) and Casey Sweeney (Cassi); his grandchildren, Connor, Ryan, Blake Harris, Jake, Phoebe Sweeney, Mikayla, Nora Sweeney, Tyler, Brady, Lauren Sears, Kaylee and Ellie Sweeney; his sisters, Paula Sweeney and Mary Reid (Don); his sister-in-law Judy Evans; his nieces and nephews, Katie, Laura, David and Leeanne; and his granddaughter Katherine Sweeney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Homes of Hope or OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Chapel.
