With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Stephen Holifield of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Metropolis, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Stephen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Walton and Verna Holifield (Dye); his children, Jennifer Holifield of Mobile and Robert Holifield of Bloomington; and his siblings, Wayne Holifield of Macomb, Marie Taylor (Holifield) of Murray, Kentucky, Mary Elizabeth Rowley (Holifield) of Percy and Margie Kinzley (Holifield) of Lansing, Michigan.. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
