He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenio Garza and Hortensia Garza (Hernandez); and his siblings, Eugenio Garza, Arturo Garza, Alonso Garza and Thelma Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Pamela Nerad (Grady) of Caledonia, WI and Jennifer Garza of Milwaukee, WI; his grandsons, Silas and Solomon; and his siblings, Martha Mata (Martin), Jesse Garza (Antonia) and Hugo Garza. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
