He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Julie Clemons (David) of Bloomington and Judy Hafley (Rick) of Bloomington; his sister Irene O'Neil; his nephews, Kiley and Kyler of Alabama; his parents, James Hamilton and Lilias Hamilton (Callander); and his significant other Viale Hamilton (Merrill). He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sportsmen Association, Prairieland Anglers, or St. Jude Children's Association.
