He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Harlan and Evelyn Bishop (Smith); and his son Rodney Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Gay Cochran (Bill) and Rebecca (David); and his sister Jeanette McDermit. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvert & Metzler (Bloomington) (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
