He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Spaulding and Mary Jo Spaulding (Turner); and his stepmother Esther Spaulding. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Foulks; his children, Eric Spaulding, Brice Spaulding and Heather Rowe (Jeff); his grandchildren, Robert L., William, Jessica Schoenherr, Anna, Zacharey, Jason, Josh, Hope and Sienna; and his sister Karen Cramer (Leroy). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to the American Heart Association.
