He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren "Jimmie" Allen and Maxine Shreves Allen; and his sister Sharon Nair of Bloomington. He is survived by: his wife Garnet Allen of Bloomington; his daughters, Renee Maxwell (Scott) of Abingdon and Melanie Curtis (Jesse) of Mesquite, TX; his grandchildren, Britny Blynn (Jason) of Abingdon, Devon Hill (Abby) of Chicago, Jesse Curtis, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Jalisa Curtis (Keeshaun) of Jacksonville, FL, Jessica Curtis (Darius) of Jacksonville, FL, Morgan Maxwell (Thomas) of Abingdon, Tre Maxwell of Abingdon and Jayla Curtis of Mesquite, TX; his great grandchildren, Kinley Blynn of Abingdon, Eli Keith of Abingdon, Aidah Keith of Abingdon and Sahara Curtis of Jacksonville, FL.; his niece Natasha Nair; and his pets, Radlie, Milo Zeppelin, Skuki and Piper.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Celebrate Recovery in Normal or Crossroads Chapel in Bloomington.
