In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Eugene and Rose Marie Kagel (Pfeifer); his siblings, Barb King (Steve), Fred Kagel and Tom Kagel (Marty); his children, Robert Kagel (Renee) of LeRoy, Jennifer Medler (Jeremy) of Mahomet and Brian Kagel (Mindy) of LeRoy; his pet Jake; and his close friend John Trenkle (Wanda). He was also cherished by his grandkids, helping his daughter.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
