She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ryburn and Ruth Ryburn (Williams); and her husband Roy R. Valentine. She is survived by: her children, Robert Ivy, Roy Valentine and Valerie Rice (Marquis); her grandchildren, Jason Ivy, Dr. Tracie Ivy (Michael Rendino), Brandon Rice (Theresa) and Nakiya Rice (Dawson); her great grandchildren, Alexis Ivy, Tyrone and Diamond; and her siblings, Harry Ryburn, Sally Wagner and Jeri Ryburn.
