He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Weis and Mary Ellen Weis (O'Malley). He is survived by: his wife Tina Weis of Bloomington; his children, Luciana Vazquez (Zachariah) of Beaufort and Ian Weis of Bloomington; his brothers, David Weis (Heidi) of Lexington and Jim Weis (Angie) of Englewood, Florida; his siblings-in-law, Michael Kilmartin of New York City and Meaghan Wolfe (Mike) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and his mother-in-law Bev Kilmartin of Normal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
