He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph Vallender and Mabel Ann Heyroth (Steinke); his stepfather Raymond Heyroth; and his daughter Susan Janette Antonoff. He is survived by: his wife Leora Janet (Swartz); his children, Jeff Vallender (Kerry) of Normal, IL and Lisa Cox (Mike) of Bloomington, IL; his son-in-law Mike Antonoff of Punta Gorda, FL; his grandchildren, Mike Antonoff Jr., Rachael Behrens (Bradley), Zachary Antonoff (Kristy), Emily Oliver (Kendall), Gretchen Spencer (Austin) and Sean Cox; and his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Maebel, Payton, Lydia, Lucille, Carly, Elouise, Elias, Cameron and Rosalie.
