He was predeceased by: his parents, David Heidloff and Dorothy Krage Heidloff. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Heidloff of Bloomington, IL; his stepmother Joann Heidloff of Bloomington, IL; his children, David (Savannah Heidloff) of Riverside, IL and Jennifer Benton (Rigoberto Vazquez) of St Paul, MN; his siblings, Linda Heidloff of Bloomington, IL, Dale Heidloff of Maywood, IL, Janet (Bill), Profilet and Dean (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kali Thompson, Fabiana, Alex Vazquez of St. Paul, MN, Logan and Noah Heidloff of Riverside, IL; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Mila and Malea Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
