With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion O'Brien Stoops of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas O'Brien and Mary Walsh O'Brien; her husband Samuel T. Stoops; her brother Everett O'Brien; her nephew Thomas O'Brien; and her great-nephew Richard O'Brien.
She is survived by: her niece Jeannie O'Brien; her great-niece Mary Mikel (Mark); and her great-nephews, David O'Brien (Jennifer), LeRoy and James O'Brien (Roxanne Summit). She is also survived by 11 great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she was a life-long member.
