It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Koestner of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lennerth and Sofia Lennerth; her husband Karl Koestner August; her son Karl Koestner; her brothers, George and Martin Lennerth; and her stepbrother Michael Lennerth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ingrid Wetzel (Bill) and Sofia Koestner; her daughter-in-law Marcia Koestner; her stepbrother Oscar Lennerth; and her grandchildren, Teresa Newell, Christopher Everroad, Brian Koestner, Jason Koestner and Heather Kizzee. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Maria's name to Zion Lutheran Church, Danvers.
