He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudie Bachman and Beulah Bachman (Wagner); his brother Norman Bachman; and his sons, Jeffery and Brent Bachman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Ehling of Hutchinson and Dick Bachman (Elaine) of Athens, IL.; his grandchildren, Amber Beard (Jim) of Morning Sun, IA, Melinda Newhouse (Mark) of Bloomington and Brandon Peterson (Barbie) of Troy, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Kurt, Remington Beard, Gavin, Aubrey and Emerson Newhouse.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
