Larry Reinhart Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Reinhart (Bloomington, Illinois), who passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Reinhart to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Todd Reinhart (Becky); his grandchildren, Luke, Alex and Chase; his son Chad Reinhart (Sarah); his grandchildren, Caleb and Carson; his daughter Lori Newell (Mike); his granddaughters, Cara Humbert and Amanda Dietz; and his great grandchild Chandler Deitz. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home (1800 Eastland Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pasture Church (2555 County Rd 300 N, Hudson, IL 61748). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hartsburg Union Cemetery. During the early days of the COVID pandemic, Larry and Ruth attended the first church service held in a pasture near Lake Bloomington, a humble gathering that would later grow into The Pasture Church.
