He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Vernon and Beverly J. Crosby Hodge. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Swafford; his son Nathan Hodge of Bloomington; his stepdaughters, Mandi and Kelcy Camp of Bloomington; and his siblings, Janet Kleeberger (Michael) of Surprise, AZ, Joe Hodge (Natalie) of Colorado Springs, CO and Jim Hodge (Donna) of Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hartsburg-Emden High School Bass Team, where Jon formerly coached.
