He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Ficca and Emilia Ficca (Cicale); his siblings, Mary Ficca (Coratto), Louise Ficca (Metts), Alfred and Albert Ficca (Patricia); and his son Dirk (Lynda).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jo Hurst; his children, Darby Venerable (Hudson) of Bloomington, Dawn Coursey (Michael Pautz) of Arlington Heights and Douglas Ficca (Marsha Veninga) of Bloomington; and his grandchildren, Dillon Ficca (Hala), Connor Ficca, Lindsay Hoffman (David), John Venerable (Kelsey), Blair Beuttler (Jon) and Alyson Ficca. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
