He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph F. Mildred and Adele Fitzgerald Mildred; his former wife Flora L. Mildred; his wife Joyce I. Boeckmann; his daughter Ann Gontard (Michel) of Paris, France; his daughter-in-law Muriel Phillips of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Julie Kelly (Patrick), Eric Boeckmann (Lizabeth) and Beth McLawhorn (Todd); his grandchildren, Nicolas Gontard of Paris, Sophie Gontard of Paris, Jeffrey Kelly (Emily) of Ft Collins, CO, Katelyn Williams (Kristopher) of Chicago, Pierce McLawhorn, Will McLawhorn, Harry McLawhorn, Charlie McLawhorn, Max and Hannah Boeckmann of LaGrange; his great grandchild Grace Ellen Kelly; his son Steven L. Mildred; and his son-in-law Todd L McLawhorn.
